You’ll find a passion for motor racing here that’s a match for anything in Italy. The stadium area gives a panoramic view of almost half the track, from a huge horseshoe of concrete grandstands packed with over 100,000 roaring fans. Add in the hot, sunny mid-German summer weather and you have an unforgettable atmosphere.The track is within easy walking distance of the small town of Hockenheim, but its limited accommodation is usually swamped. A short drive away, historic Heidelberg, or the Rhineland cities of Ludwigshafen, Mannheim or Frankfurt offer more relaxing accommodation, with a wide choice of amenities. As it is in Germany, everything is wonderfully well organised too!
The German Grand Prix will in future alternate between the Hockenheimring and the Nurburgring, no doubt each circuit will be going out of their way to ensure fans have an unforgettable experience.
